Epaulet consisting of a tongue of gold gallon, into which a web of silver gallon is woven in. On the tongue a fire-orbuttered knot on which in a stylized wreath two crossed cannons. The oval leaf is surrounded by a wider edge of gold gallon cord with drooping golden fringe. Underside epaulet of dark blue sheet, stitched with yellow thread. Under the tongue a yellow metal hook. One of the epaulettes has a loose dark blue lacquer crescent-shaped cushion. The other epaulet has a ditto cushion, which still hangs on one side on the leaf. Coming from H.L. Frans, in 1830-1832 with the 1st battalion field artillery, field battery No 12.
