Family album with photographs of a Dutch-Indies family and of a sugar factory in Purworejo, various makers, c. 1916 - c. 1930 Canvas Print

Photo album in blue band. The front and back cover and the band back are decorated with geometric and floral motifs. On the front cover is an image with various types of fruit. Behind the front cover is a storage compartment. On various album sheets photos are missing, they are torn loose or cut out. Six prints were found loose in the album. The album contains recordings of a family in the Dutch East Indies, mainly from the period 1916-1918. The large number of photos relating to a sugar factory in Purworejo suggests that the family had ties to this company. At the back of the album there are some photomechanical prints of Dutch landscapes and buildings, as well as recordings of diving people (diving people?) in a swimming pool. Names mentioned in the album are Lammers, Van Ede, Westenenk, J.W. Visser, Schouw and Collar.
