Female Saint, Master of Koudewater, c. 1460 Canvas Print
She stands on a low ground with the right knee slightly ahead and with her arms next to the body. The robe with v-shaped neck cut and long sleeves is held up under the left arm, so that at the left shoe tip two more skirts are visible, one of which is trimmed with a fur border. With the same arm she also holds up the cloak, which falls down from the shoulders and over the arms. On the robe, which shows three slit folds at the neck, lies a three-part pearl necklace with a serrated edge, to which a diamond-shaped pendant; above the v-shaped neck cut a waxed front, bordered by a pearl border. The groove around the skull indicates a now missing crown.
