Cast iron stove plate, with a semicircular top. Central is the coat of arms of England under the Tudor period, surrounded by the motto of the Order of Garter: HONI SOIT QUI MAL I PENSE. The coat of arms is held up by a crowned lion on the left, standing on a cartouche with the inscription ANNO; and on the right a griffin, standing on a cartouche with the inscription 1602. Above the coat of arms a crowned helmet with next to it the letters IR (Iacobus Rex).
