Five scenes from classical mythology, anonymous, c. 1700 - c. 1790 Canvas Print

Five glasses with scenes from classical mythology in a wooden mount. The glass on the far left: Orpheus plays on a Renaissance violin, around him sits a deer and two dogs listening. The glass to the right of it: man with spear and in classic armor, in battle with a dragon. The middle glass: man with a red cloth turned over chases with sword a female figure with wings instead of arms (probably a harpy, pursued by Boreas or Jason). The glass to the right of it: a woman, with a frightened child in her arms, points to men with frogs in a pool with reeds. (Probably the landmen who were turned into frogs by the goddess Latona after they insulted her.) The glass on the far right: Hercules catches the bull of Crete. Hercules has worked the bull's head against the ground and is sitting with his knee on his neck.
