Flint pistol with battery lock, belonging to torque. An octagonal barrel of blued steel, slightly widening by the mouth. On the front part of the barrel is a visor grain of steel. The barrel is decorated with gold leaf bands at the mouth and at the tailpiece; the part near the zundgat is completely gilded. The top of the barrel is marked with gold. At the top of the barrel, no. The soul has so-called "hair features". The tailpiece consists of a separate block with square hole in which the hook-shaped end piece of the barrel fits. On the tailpiece part is a visorkeep. Lock: Flint battery lock; blued steel. The rear part of the lock plate is on a lower level and is engraved with an eagle on a tree branch; the rooster is decorated with engraved leaf and pineal motifs. Lock plate of pistol bear inscription and of pistol (2) ARQUEBUSr DE L'EMPEREUR. The locks are marked on the inside. Wood: (politicized) walnut; flattened stock which is straight closed at the bottom, diamond-shaped grooved neck. Fittings: steel (blued): separate plates around the lock bolts, decorated with acanthus leaf motifs and pearl edges; trigger bracket with representations of a flower basket, garlands, acanthus leaf motifs and an eagle on a tree branch; flat, octagonal flask cap, at the bottom an in crustation with gold, representing a lightning bolt (after antique model).
