Foot, trunk and part of the chalice of a flute glass (with the English coat of arms and a muzzled bear), anonymous, c. 1600 - c. 1700 Canvas Print
Originally engraved with a decorated knot and on the chalice on one side the English coat of arms (quartered one and four, three lilies and three creeping lions); on the other side a muzzled bear, standing against a tree, to which it is chained. To both weapons the spell "Honi soit, qui mal y pense". Between the arms a flower ornament, with bands decorated below and above. The foot is decorated with loose sheets. The weapon is believed to be Warwick, possibly for Ambrose Dudley, Earl of Warwick (1561-1590).
