The fourth sled in the procession. A sled in which the personification of Freedom, with William of Orange and a knight, drawn by a horse and followed by nobles on horseback. Part of the series of fifteen drawings for the plates of the sled canal on 24 January 1776 organized by the Leiden society Veniam Pro Laude on the occasion of the Second Centenary of the Relief of Leiden (3 October 1574) and the foundation of the University of Leiden (8 February 1575).
