Front hall seen to the east in 1957, 1957 Canvas Print
From the front hall view of the eastern cabinets. The walls of the front hall are wallpapered with mitten. In the background you can see a poster of the exhibition 'From Gothic to empire' (6 July -13 October 1957) On the right a look through to the gallery of honour with a view of a painting by Hendrick ter Brugghen: 'The infidel Thomas'. Front hall seen to the northeast. The polychromy has been made a bit quieter, sparing the more essential decorative decorations. In order to make the church organ from Scheemda come into its own better, some wall decorations on the east wall have been removed. The floor is covered with linoleum in the twenties. Some walls are equipped with panelling with letter panels.
