General Daendels says goodbye at Maarssen to Lieutenant-Colonel C.R.T. Krayenhoff, who is sent to Amsterdam to bring about a revolution in the city government, 18 January 1795. Also proposed: the colonel van der Mühl and the officer of the staff Jan Nagel. The act takes place in the winter with snow on the ground, on the left a man with a drum bent over standing by a mortar. On the reverse is attached a manuscript from 1834 in which the representation is explained.
