Gilded copper(?) shoe buckle, embossed with shell and lighting. Rococco. Rectangular and curved model, rounded corners. From below smooth and thickened for the spindle. Under buckle: single, U-shape eye of steel with two sharp points and a battery drawer shaped sawn part at the spindle, which is blindly attached in the trim. Loose, hinged gaff-shaped tongue (or point?) with sharp points. England or France? The shoe closes on the instep with two leather slips falling over each other, the other through the top edge. Forms a pair with BK-1978-407-A.
