Cast iron hob, consisting of two zones. In the upper zone is a medallion at the top with the letters IHS and directly below it the year 1619. Among them three male figures standing on a console with their name, respectively Horace Cocles, Gaius Mucius Scaevola and Samson. In the lower zone three medallions with busts separated from each other by tendrils. The two left medallions show a bust and face, with a man on the left and a woman on the right. The right medallion shows the bust of a man and profile. All figures and medallions come from separate models. The top of the fireplace plate is three-lobed and is decorated with round buttons.
