Room 148 and 147 with decorated fireplace. The top of the passageway contains consoles. The outer wall is made of clean masonry. The fireplace with beautifully carved oak frieze is in Renaissance style. The collar statues (representing Adam and Eve) are casts after those of the house of Maerten van Rossum in Zalt-Bommel, beginning of the 17th century. The fireplace stones with decoration in relief were followed by examples from the end of the 16th century. Above the fireplace a painting from the beginning of the 17th century, representing a family seated on the disch."
