Float of a moisture weigher for determining the specific gravity of liquids, in a leather case filled with flax and sawdust, damaged. The float consists of a glass body weighted with a mercury ball at the bottom, which is sealed with lacquer; the thin top end, which has broken off and is missing, has a coiled paper shell ranging from 5 to 20, with a W at the top; the shell has been preserved.
