Judges Ibsan and Jefta. Ibsan points to the scene in the background. In front of his house, one of his sons or daughters sits at the wedding meal. Ibsan married out his thirty sons and thirty daughters. Jefta is dressed in armor and leans on his sword. In the background you can see how his daughter leads the way in a procession. Jefta had promised God to sacrifice the first thing he would see when he returned home. On the right, Jefta sacrifices his daughter.
