Incroyables et Merveilleuses, 1813, Merveilleuse, Pl. VI, kopie naar No. 15, anonymous, 1955 Canvas Print
'Merveilleuse', standing by a stone wall, with a 'cornette de Lévantine' on the head. She wears a 'domino' decorated with lace. Further accessories: half mask with a piece of fabric at the bottom, handkerchief, flat shoes with bows and crossed straps (cothurnes). The print is a copy after No. 15 from the series 'Incroyables et Merveilleuses', Paris, 1810-1818. (Possibly from Roger-Armand Weigert, 1955).
