The upper is the lid of the ink reservoir and on top of the middle decorated with an inlaid round ivory plate; the centrepiece is the glass ink reservoir encased in palm wood; the lower part is the sand spreader. Around the ink case to strengthen various copper rings. Pocket ink case.
