Egg-shaped pot of stoneware, covered with a white sludge and painted under the glaze in dark brown. On the belly a large scalloped cartouche with a feng huang between clouds and one with a four-clawed, pearl-chasing dragon between clouds. In between two opposite, triangular cartouches with a flower vine. On the shoulder a band with peonies and a band with leaf motifs. Around the foot a band with stylized flowers. Some chips in the rim. Cizhou.
