Standing woman with a hair comb of gold in the raised hair. Around the neck and waist a 'fichu - ceinture'. She wears a gown with short pleated sleeves and tow. With the right hand she holds up her gown, so that an underskirt can be seen. Stockings with contrasting latches. Further accessories: earrings, folding fan, flat shoes with pointed noses. The print is part of the fashion magazine Journal des Dames et des Modes, published by Pierre de la Mésangère, Paris, 1797-1839.
