Standing woman with on the head a 'capote' of satin, decorated with clovers and two ostrich feathers. Garland on the side. Velvet bands are crossed and form the belt. Gown with long sleeves and tow. Further accessories: earring in the right ear, dotted neckerchief knotted around the neck, gloves, flat shoe with pointed nose and bow. Next to her a chair, opened book in hand. The print is part of the fashion magazine Journal des Dames et des Modes, published by Sellèque, Paris, 1797-1839.
