Woman, seen on the back, walking to the right, with on the head a tulle awning hat decorated with various flowers. She wears a cottonbatist (percale) gown decorated with mousseline 'broths'. Fichu, like the belt, is formed by a wide ribbon of tulle. Further accessories: parasol, flat shoes with pointed noses. The print is part of the fashion magazine Journal des Dames et des Modes, published by Pierre de la Mésangère, Paris, 1797-1839.
