The two women of number 1 are a copy after Pl. 2385, 20 February 1826, from Journal des Dames et des Modes, published by Pierre de la Mésangère, Paris, 1797-1839. On it the costumes are shown in their entirety: hat by Blonde (bobbin lace) decorated with flowers from the store of Doyen-Huet. Cashmere gown decorated with 'chefs' of cashmere.
