Jug of stoneware on high foot with a cylindrical body, round shoulder and wide, ribbed neck. Profiles on the body and foot. Covered with a brown engobe. On the abdomen in relief a printed and imposed band with arches. Under the first arch the musicians are depicted, the other arches with a dancing couple. In the second box from the left the date '1597'. Under the band the inscription 'GERHET DV MVS DAPER BLASEN SO DANSSEN DI BVREN ALS WEREN SI RASEN FRS VF SPRICHT BASTOR ICH VER DANS DI K[...]'. The lower part of the abdomen slopes to the foot and has engraved pockets. On the shoulder engraved arches with rosettes. Raeren.
