Jug of stoneware on high base with a cylindrical body with slightly narrower, round shoulder and long neck. The C-shaped ear is attached to the neck and shoulder. Covered with a brown engobe. On the belly a wide band with in relief a printed and imposed decoration of seventeen personifications with their names above them. Displayed are astrology, the Seven Virtues and the Nine Muses: Astrologia, Fides, Caritas, Spes, Iustitia, Prvdencia, Temperatia, Fortitvdo, Pelpomene, Tialia, Evt[?], Terpsichorie, Clio, Poli, Caliope, Erato, Vrania. Among the female figures the inscription 'BEI MEI MISTER BALDEM MENNICKIN POTENBECKER WONENDE TOTEN RAREN IN LEIDEN EN GEDOLT ANNO DVSENT 1579'. To the right of the last lady the word 'NOVEM'.
