Ecru, in the middle the coat of arms of Baden, covered by prince's crown, surrounded by a white, red and black decorated band. The whole is held by two griffins (averted on the flight side), and is placed on a trophy of banners, cannons etc.; behind the crown a green forest shed, behind which sunbeams and a cloud. In the foreground on the flight side a cruciform order sign. Parade side: instead of the coat of arms of Baden the coat of arms of the Republic. The oval band around it is blue: CONCORDIA RES PARVAE CRESCUNT, covered by a crown with three beaded braces and red hat. On both sides a going lion. The whole is placed on a trophy of banners, drums, cannons, bullets, guns etc. In the background a forest shed with sun rays and clouds in front.
