Fragment of Van Heutsz monument in Batavia 1932. Head with neck of a Javanese, around which a headscarf is wrapped. The left ear is visible under the headscarf. Face is without expression. The bottom of the neck and right side of the face is the edge along which the object is chopped off from the image. Along this edge are many superficial damages. Right side is rough. At the back of the image is a screw eye attached, an eye of wire knotted to it.
