Line-up of Dutch history in room 108 around 1971., 1965 - 1971 Canvas Print
In 1971, D. Elffers completed the redesign of the Nderland history department. In room 108 on the right of the wall pastel portraits of Tischbein of the stadholder family, for medallion portraits, in the back of the stadholder's chair. Room 108 seen heading northeast. The room has a four-part ridge vault on a round middle column. This middle column has an ionic capital with a cornice zone, in which two triglyphen and two voluts. Against the middle of the east and west wall a column, in the corners pilasters. However, little of this original arrangement is yet in sight; the current interior design and interior finish has only only been created here. On the side of the courtyard is a suspended ceiling, above which the lighting and climate treatment are included. On the floor is parquet, the walls are lined with plywood sheets with an ash veneer layer.
