Magazine of Female Fashions of London and Paris, Costume Parisien, 1801, No. 33.3 : Capote en Crêp (...), anonymous, 1801 Canvas Print
Woman with a capote of 'crepe Amaranthe' on her head. She wears a gown with cleavage, high waist and tow. On the hand a boy in children's clothing: suit with harem pants and sleeveless cardigan (?). On the head a turban. The print is a copy after No. 239, 23 août 1800, from the French fashion magazine Journal des Dames et des Modes, published by Pierre de la Mésangère, Paris, 1797-1839. The boy is slightly different in attitude and has a flower basket attached.
