Man's ring, anonymous, c. 1725 - c. 1750 Canvas Print

At the top, the ring is set with an oval rose diamond in smooth setting on foil. Around it a border with rose diamonds mounted on a base that flares out to a narrow shin, the shoulders set with rose diamonds, between which two larger rose diamonds. The inner ring is made of red gold. The ring has not been inspected. The central diamond was presumably lifted at a later date to be put in new foil. In the twentieth century, the ring has two golden balls in the shin to make the ring suitable for a narrower finger.
