Between 1958 and 1962, several major renovations were carried out, including those of the Night Watch Room, the Hall of Fame, the Western Courtyard and the Passage. In 1961, repairs were carried out on the roof on the western side of the museum. The man in the photo is believed to be in the gutter between the north façade and the roof of the western inner place.
