At the top in the middle the coat of arms of the States-General. At the top right a cartouche with the second title. At the bottom left a canvas hanging between columns with a verse entitled 'Aenden Leeuw van Hollant'. On the tympanum a lion that defeats a wolf, at the bottom of the columns a surveyor (left) and the personification of the Hope (right). Underneath three bowl sticks: Een ghemene Hollandsche myl; 2000 Rhynlandsche rods of 12 feet; An hour gaens. On the right the legend A-Q, above a berin with a young and a four-line poem entitled 'Noodtwendicheydt'.
