The kneeling Mary and Christ look up at the tetragram that stands in the sky. The performance is framed in a beaded frame. In each corner a medallion with scenes of the souls, the sick, the sinners and the prisoners praying to Mary, respectively. In the cartouche at the bottom, Saint Bernard of Clairvaux kneels before Mary. Milk squirts from her breast onto the lips of the saint (Lactatio Bernardi). The print has an upper inscription in Latin.
