Haori for a man with a decoration on the lining of a landscape with pavilions and a bridge over a stream in the mountains, imitating a folding fan painting, with to its left two figures, one (Xianzhi) rubbing ink in an inkstone on a rock , the other (his father, Zixhi) writing with a brush on a vertical piece of rock. Wan Zixhi was a 4th century Chinese calligrapher, famous for his Lan Ting Xu, Preface to the collection of poems written in the Orchid Pavilion. Dark brown raw silk (tsumugi) with brocade woven decoration.
