Caption to this imprint: "the Night Watch rolled up; is transported from Castricum to Heemskerk ?? see; Beard pag. 41." The bombproof cellars were built in 1940, after the other shelters proved to be not safe. After a stay in Radbout Castle and the municipal air raid shelter in Castricum, the Night Watch was rolled up in the air raid shelters in Heemskerk. In 1941 the new cellars were put into use.
