The belt consists of a front and a back blade, both rectangular and both hinged connected to the curved back. On the inside of the blades, along the upper, lower and outer sides, inward curved edges run, at the corners connected by profiled frames, in which the sheets of the missal are encased. On the inside of the back, bracts with a scalloped contour are placed along the top and bottom, to protect the back of the book. The tire can be closed with two cleats, which close to tabs attached to the front cover. The cleats have corrugated sides. Front and back blade and the back of the tire are surrounded by a profiled edge. On the front and back leaf, a flat frame is placed inside, closed by a profile and decorated at the corners with imposed, cast culots. The list includes a field with a punched ground. On the front page, this is decorated with a large oval medallion surrounded by a curling frame in the middle of the underside, which is interrupted in the middle of the top by a cleat and on the sides by leaf colonies. The medallion depicts the ascension of Mary: Mary ascends to heaven, surrounded by nine angels, some of whom bear attributes -- a crown and a sceptre, a rosary and palm leaves -- while others hold up Mary's robe. Above the cleat at the top is a smaller oval medallion placed, in which the standing figure of St. Elisabeth of Hungary with a beggar. In the four corners of the magazine, the four Latin church fathers are depicted in half-time: at the top left Gregory the Great with the papal tiara and cross staff, at the top right Ambrose with the bishop's miter and crooked staff, bottom left Jerome with a crucifix, accompanied by his lion, and at the bottom right Augustine with the bishop's bouncer and crooked staff and a flaming heart. Between the church fathers depicted at the bottom, a symmetrical ornament of leaf revolutions has been applied. The decoration of the large field on the back page shows a similar layout as on the front page. On the large medallion, the Last Supper is depicted here in an interior with a hanging burning oil lamp and a reclining dog, chewing on a bone. In the small medallion the standing figure of St. Willibrord, with the bishop's miter and crooked staff, in a landscape with a church model. In the four corners the Four Evangelists in half: at the top left John with an eagle, at the top right Luke with a bull, at the bottom left Mark with a lion and at the bottom right Matthew with an angel. They are all depicted with a book, John, Luke and Matthew also with a feather pen. Between the saints shown below is another ornament of leaf colonies, which, however, differs from that on the front page. The back is divided into four compartments by means of imposed profiles, in which oval fields with a punched soil have been saved. In these fields, From top to bottom, Saint Nicholas, dressed as bishop, are displayed at a tub with three children, baptism in the Jordan, St. James with a pilgrim's staff and St. Catherine with a sword, a palm branch and a broken wheel. On the two cleats the Ghent Altarpiece with the cross, lying on the book with the Seven Seals, is shown. The cleats are closed at the top and bottom by profiled, widening areas. The band contains an illustrated missal from 1882 (Missale Romanum... Ratisbonae, Neo Eboraci et Cincinatii Sumptibus, Chartis et Typis Friderici Pustet, S. Sedis Apost. et Sacr. Ride. Congr.
