Headgear of mekraprood and indigo blue sheet. Drilled with (worn) gold gallop, on top small hanging brush of presumably gold wire. Front yellow metal front plate ajour struck, on which the Dutch lion, with in the claws sword and arrow bundle, above the stadholder crown. Under the lion are the letters V.O.C., flags crossed around the lion. Remnants of fire-making on the plate and on a grenade (ornament), hanging from the plate. Grenade originally attached to left side (see must in the fabric). Left to plate label with no. 200.
