Model of the decoupling of the crankshaft of a scoop wheel, on a ground shelf. Crankshaft and cog shaft are connected by a connecting piece, a so-called tug or rotary link, which allows some impurity in the alignment of the shafts. The tug can be taken apart and the piece on the cog shaft turned a quarter turn, so that crankpen is released and the stool with the crank pin can turn unhindered. A loose tugs is attached separately. Scale 1:10 (derived).
