Model of the top of a rudder with round rudder king and parts of an elliptical fence, on ground shelf. The rudder king is curved and has an octagonal top, so that it can be blocked with a locking plate. Two holes at the top for the brackets of an additional stirring pin (cf. NG-MC-1355); the spare stirring pin has been recovered, the brackets are missing. The iron rudder pen, which runs below deck, has a sliding iron band at the end with two rotating blocks: this is the 'Rapson Slide'.
