Model of a half of a vertical boiler. There are two fireboxes at the bottom; from there, the flames are led through a number of tubes through the smoke boxes to a vertical shaft, where at the bottom of a grid (missing) with a coke fire belongs. Under this grid is the space that is connected to the chimney. Water and steam are distributed over a number of interconnected rooms and the dome-shaped steam hood at the top. There are two doors to the fireboxes, two to the smoke boxes above and one to the shaft.
