Model of an Ironclad Ram Ship, Laird Brothers, 1867 Canvas Print

Polychrome and testified block model of a ram tower ship, the ground shelf is missing. It has the National Coat of Arms on bow and mirror. The model has a ram stern, a sharp cruiser fence, rudder with rounded blade, two two-bladed screws. It has two domes with two pieces each; there are two deckhouses on the stern, connected by corridors, two between the two domes, also connected by corridors, a deckhouse at the bow. The railing can be lowered before shooting. The chimney is on the front deckhouse between the domes, a part of the railing there has cage bulwark. The model has five sloops in davits. The chamy is completely flat, the ship is a round bilge. The model has a three-masted rig without sails, but neither the rig nor the chimney are original: they do not appear in old photos. The fokkemast and large mast are three-legged masts (Cole's system), the bezaansmast has only a gaff.
