Model of an optical telegraph, on square ground shelf. On a pedestal is put a mast, which is sprayed at the corners of the ground shelf. The mast has three ra's, shorter and shorter upwards, with round braided discs at the ends. These can be set in a horizontal and vertical position with levers on the pedestal. At the top of the mast a flagpole with Dutch tricolor.
