Model of the Breech of a Breech-Loading Gun, anonymous, 1858 Canvas Print
Model of the kulas of a rear loading gun. The room is opened at the rear with a lid rotating on hinges. Through this lid runs a framework with the bottom of the room at the end; a solid slumber is inserted right through the kulas, which blocks the framework in place and at the same time opens the zundhole on the other side with a spring mechanism. The locking piece and frame are secured in place with wing nuts. Scale 1:5 (estimate).
