A monument with Ionic pilasters, triangular pediments, garlands, crowned coats of arms of France and Navarre, female personifications of the four cardinal virtues on the corners and an obelisk with an ornamented cross at the top. Around the monument an ornamented frame. The monument is placed on the spot where the house of Jean Châtel's father stood until January 1595. In December 1594, Châtel attempted to assassinate King Henry IV of France.
