The bombarde consists of two parts: a forepiece or kettle of wrought iron and a back piece or kulas of presumably cast iron. The construction of the boiler consists of a spiral wound iron rod of square cross-section. The cast iron cube containing the powder chamber is probably screwed into the back of the boiler. At the back of the cube is the zundgat. The barrel is located in a replica ball cabin made of oak.
