Overview of the Eastern Courtyard circa 1927, 1920 - 1930 Canvas Print
From above view of the courtyard with the various installations. In the background you can see the windows with a view of the underpass. In the middle of the photo is a large winged Victoria statue made by the sculptor Bart van Hove. Eastern courtyard seen to the northwest. Wooden floor, walls in clean masonry, light hood with iron trusses. At the top right, part of the light shade and a few consoles of these rafters are visible. In the background on the left the windows illuminating the passage. Above this frame blind niches at the level of the first floor, except at the level of tower II, where windows illuminate the stairwell of the tower. This image gives some overview of the exhibition spaces built in the courtyard. The rooms are part of the Dutch history and art department: a middle room with several spaces around it, such as on the right under the exterior of the Hindeloper room.
