The round spreader rests on a square, straight-walled plinth. The arched, slightly constricted base is closed at the bottom by a wide laurel wreath bound with ribbons. Along the beginning of the body runs a pearl border. The high bowl-shaped body is crowned by another laurel wreath bound with ribbons, with above it a wide straight band on which three equal laurel garlands are nailed. Over the upper edge of the body runs an edge of horizontally placed godrons, which, when the canister is closed, pretends to be a pearl border. The concave cap, which is openwork between cannelures with periods, commas and bells, has a bell-shaped crowning of latticework. On the separation between the two parts is an edge of fasces. This is tied with ribbons at three points, each of which a leaf garland depends on the lid and above which a large acanthus leaf is imposed on the crowning. A pine cone serves as a lid button.
