Bowl, with ribbed wall of 33 ribs, painted on the glaze in blue, red, green, yellow, black and gold, with on one side a hoo bird on a chrysanthemum branch at bound hedges and liverwort (fujibakama, Eupatorium fortunei); on the other hand liverwort and a flying hoo bird. On the inner wall three equal flower branches and on the bottom two hoo birds in circular form. Brown border. A crack in the wall; a chip in the edge. Old label on the underside with 'Collection Westendorp/ 108'. Kakiemon.
