Woman, descending a flight of stairs, dressed in a silk gown, trimmed with fries and rouleaux of satin. Coat of satin, collar with tips. Cloak or 'Manteau de Cotingue' with large collar of lace and small collar of plain velvet (right?). On the head a turban of velvet, decorated with a snake of 'filagramme d'or' (gold), by Me. Mure. Earrings. Flat shoes with crossed straps and bows (cothurnes). On the right a standing woman, seen on the back, with the same kind of turban on her head. Print from the fashion magazine Petit Courrier des Dames (1821-1868).
