Photo album in red linen band with the title 'Album' printed on the front cover in ornate gold letters. The album contains 37 photos on 32 cardboard sheets. In the back are unused sheets. The physician and amateur photographer Gerard Aalbersberg (1870-1934) compiled the album. It contains a view of Oudezijds Achterburgwal, landscapes on the Veluwe near Nunspeet, groups, folk types (Hendrikje, de bruûr van 't lijk) and a photo story staged by friends in an Amsterdam park. There are photos of groups of friends including the artist Jan Kleintjes (1867-1938) and his wife Hedwig in a house with Japanese prints and photos have been made at tennis park De Bataaf in The Hague. Names that occur further are W.Wybrants, G.Gaaymans, Stien and Suze. Pets Tom and Fritsje were also photographed.
