The western courtyard seen to the southwest. Wooden floor, walls in clean masonry, light hood with iron trusses. A few consoles of these rafters are visible. In the walls cross windows illuminating the ground floor of the wings, above which a natural stone frame. The first floor of the museum around the courtyard is illuminated by light shades, the walls on the courtyard side are equipped with blind niches. Against the wall is a plaster cast at the first floor? on view of the town hall from The Hague, on the far left the entrance from the museum can be seen from tower VI, on the right you can see the west wall with one of the organs in the middle.
